About EAFC 27 Guide

EAFC 27 Guide is a reference site for the 2026 EA SPORTS FC release. The focus is on confirmed game details: release timing, editions, platform differences, Football Ultimate Team systems, Career Mode changes, The Grounds, FC 27 Lite and EA’s live-service roadmap.

What changed for FC 27

FC 27 introduces more than a new ratings database. EA has announced a FUT Gallery with 100+ launch Sets, streamlined SBCs, Chemistry changes, a Campaign Hub, a rebuilt Career transfer market, Dynamic OVR, and The Grounds as the new current-generation home for Clubs.

Current launch status

Early Access began on 18 September 2026 for eligible Ultimate Edition players, with a 10-hour EA Play trial also available. Worldwide launch follows on 25 September.

Research standard

Feature claims are taken from EA’s game pages, Pitch Notes, EA Help and official launch posts. We separate a confirmed feature from a pre-release rumour, and we update timing-sensitive pages when EA publishes new launch information.

Core guides

Start with the release timeline, edition comparison, Ultimate Team changes, Career Mode, or The Grounds.

Current factual snapshot

As of 18 September 2026, Ultimate Edition Early Access is live. Worldwide console launch follows on 25 September, with PC worldwide unlock at 23:00 UTC on 24 September. FC 27 Lite launches later on 25 September at 16:00 UTC on its supported platforms.

Source hierarchy

For release timing and editions we use EA’s edition FAQ and global launch timeline. For gameplay we use the Gameplay Deep Dive and beta-feedback notes. For Ultimate Team, Career and The Grounds we use EA’s mode-specific Pitch Notes and launch update. Platform-store pages are used for purchase availability, not as substitutes for detailed feature notes.

What we avoid

We do not fill gaps with “leaks” when EA has not announced a feature. Ratings, stadiums, edition bonuses and platform support are kept separate from rumours and community wish lists.
