FC 27 Editions Compared: Standard vs Ultimate vs Ultimate Plus
A current comparison of FC 27 Standard, Ultimate and the limited Ultimate Plus edition, including early access and pre-order timing.
EA announced three paid editions for FC 27: Standard, Ultimate and Ultimate Plus. The practical difference is that the higher editions add early access and additional in-game content, while Standard delivers the full core game at global launch.
Standard Edition
Standard Edition launches September 25, 2026 and includes the full game and core modes. EA also attached pre-order bonuses for purchases made before launch, including Career and The Grounds content and an FC 26 item where applicable.
Ultimate Edition
Ultimate Edition includes up to seven days early access beginning September 18, a Season 1 Premium Pass, FC Points delivered in scheduled drops, an additional Player Evolution slot and other Ultimate Team, Career and The Grounds content listed by EA.
Ultimate Plus Edition
Ultimate Plus was the highest pre-order tier. EA says it included up to 10,000 FC Points across five monthly drops, Premium Passes for Seasons 1 through 5 and additional Ultimate Team content. However, EA also stated that Ultimate Plus was available only during the early-bird window from July 23 through August 31, 2026. As of September 17, that purchase window has passed.
Which edition is still relevant now?
For a buyer on September 17, compare the currently available Standard and Ultimate purchase routes on EA's official page. Do not rely on an old comparison that still presents Ultimate Plus as an open pre-order option.
Watch delivery conditions
Some FC Points are delivered over multiple months and have redemption conditions. Read EA's current FAQ carefully instead of assuming all bonus currency appears immediately.
