EA SPORTS FC 27 Release Date and Early Access: September 2026 Timeline

EA SPORTS FC 27 Early Access is live from 18 September 2026. The launch is staggered by platform and region, so store pages can show slightly different calendar dates even though the access window is the same global rollout.

Early Access timing

EA’s global launch timeline says Ultimate Edition and eligible EA Play Pro users on PC could begin at 23:00 UTC on 17 September. On PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, Early Access begins at 00:00 local time on 18 September. That means console players unlock at midnight in their own region rather than at one single global UTC time.

EA Play 10-hour trial

EA Play members can use a 10-hour trial during the early-access period. The trial is time-limited, so closing the game fully when you are not playing matters if the platform continues counting active game time.

Worldwide launch

For the Standard Edition, EA lists the worldwide console release as 25 September 2026 at 00:00 regional time. PC unlocks at 23:00 UTC on 24 September.

Web App and Companion App

EA rolled out the FC 27 Web App and Companion App in the days immediately before Early Access so returning Ultimate Team players could begin club-management activity before the full worldwide release. Exact availability can depend on account eligibility and EA’s transfer-market access rules.

  • Players who previously bought the limited Ultimate Plus Edition
  • EA Play Pro members on supported PC services
  • EA Play members through the 10-hour trial rather than unrestricted full-game access

What “up to 7 days” means

EA markets Ultimate access as up to seven days early because Early Access begins on 18 September while worldwide launch is 25 September. It does not mean every platform unlocks at the same UTC moment.

FC 27 Lite follows later

FC 27 Lite is not part of Early Access. EA says the free limited preview launches 25 September at 16:00 UTC on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, EA app, Steam and Epic Games Store.

Regional launch examples

EA’s global timeline illustrates why two players can see different calendar times. PC Early Access was listed as 17 September at 4:00 PM PDT in Vancouver, 7:00 PM EDT in New York and midnight/early morning on 18 September in Europe and Asia. Console access uses midnight regional time on 18 September, which is simpler but still means the rollout moves across time zones.

Web and Companion App timing

EA’s global launch communications place the Web App and Companion App rollout immediately before Early Access. The practical point is that Ultimate Team club access on the web/mobile tools can begin before the Standard Edition launch, but Transfer Market access is still governed by EA’s account-eligibility rules.

What to do if the game does not unlock

Check the exact edition in your library, platform store region, subscription status and whether the purchase includes Early Access. Standard Edition pre-orders do not get the same unrestricted early-access window as Ultimate. On PC, also distinguish EA Play Pro full access from the regular EA Play 10-hour trial.
