Confirmed FC 27 authenticity updates, Liga MX return, major competitions, 19,000+ players and the opening-season launch roadmap.
EA’s FC 27 authenticity numbers are larger than a simple “licensed leagues” list. The current EA SPORTS FC hub says the game includes 21,000+ players from 800+ clubs and national teams, competing in 140+ stadiums and 35+ leagues, supported by more than 300 global football partners.
Player ratings database
EA separately promotes ratings for more than 19,000 players. That ratings database is a subset of the broader authenticity figure, so the two numbers should not be treated as contradictory.
Liga MX returns
One of the most visible licensing changes is the return of Liga MX. EA has also announced renewed and expanded partnerships covering clubs, leagues and stadiums.
Why 140+ stadiums matters
Stadium authenticity affects more than visuals: broadcast presentation, atmosphere, crowd identity and home-ground feel all depend on licensed environments. EA’s 140+ figure is the current official aggregate to use rather than older FC 26 totals.
Launch roadmap is a live-service plan
EA’s September launch update sets out the opening Seasons rather than treating 25 September as the end of development. The roadmap covers Ultimate Team, The Grounds, Career and quality-of-life updates after launch.
Ultimate Team launch themes
Season 1 uses Ones to Watch and related early-season football narratives. FUT Gallery launches with more than 100 Sets, and the first post-launch combined-rarities Gallery Set arrives at worldwide launch.
The Grounds launch content
The first Club Tournament spans Early Access into worldwide launch and uses 11v11 Classic Stadium competition. EA plans ongoing limited-time experiences and Playoffs with stronger rewards.
Career post-launch support
EA says additional development resources are going into post-launch support across major modes, including Career. That matters because balance in the rebuilt transfer market and Dynamic OVR can evolve through updates.

Ratings are a living conversation, not a launch patch note
The published ratings database is useful for comparing base player data, while live modes can add dynamic or special items. Do not confuse a base FC 27 rating with an Ultimate Team promo item or Career Dynamic OVR inside a save.
Roadmap purpose
The September 14 Launch Update is a roadmap for the opening Seasons. It gives a better picture of planned live-service direction than isolated trailer claims because it covers FUT, The Grounds, Career and quality-of-life support together.
